OMNIA Industries, Inc. announces that its Board of Directors has named Mr. Alexander Comini as the company’s President. He succeeds Alberto Comini, who founded OMNIA in 1964, and who will now hold the position of Chairman. OMNIA is a leading brand of high-end residential locksets and architectural hardware, sold internationally.
Alexander (Alex), one of the co-owners of OMNIA and presently a vice president, joined the company 23 years ago. Earning a degree in industrial arts, Alex graduated from Keene State College, NH, and spent the next several years working in advertising. With the experience he gained, Alex brought a unique set of skills to OMNIA, focusing on the marketing of the line to the specifier and architectural communities. Currently, he concentrates his efforts in various areas of the business, from manufacturing to working with the customer base of showrooms and distributors. In recent years, he has designed and been responsible for the manufacturing and promoting of a number of product lines that have been successfully added to the OMNIA catalogue: Prodigy, Ultima, Classico and Traditions, to name a few. Alex is instrumental in supervising the selection and production of hardware specified for many important installations, such as high profile buildings in New York, Miami, Chicago, Macau, etc.
In his new position as President, Alex will continue to develop new product lines, create stategies to enhance brand distinction, strengthen the existing market structure, oversee manufacturing and quality control, and build upon the original foundation for long term growth. As President, Alex Comini, along with Denyse Comini Becker, Executive Vice President and co-owner, ensures the continued progression of OMNIA’s legacy established more than 50 years ago.
